Sam YamUpdated to 5 stars. See bottom for revised review. We had High Level come out to look at our refrigerator which was running warm and the tech spent about 15-20 minutes in our home. Recommended Pete's Appliance repair or a full replacement on the fridge. Tech recommended that the evaporator, filter, and compressor needs replacing. He said, "Machine appears to have a system problem. Possibly a leak in the system. Cost of repair will be close to replacement cost of machine." We got a second technician to look at it and found the leak, repaired it, and refilled coolant. The technician found no issues with the evaporator, coolant, or filter which was all recommended to be replaced. I understand technicians can err, I get it, but I don't believe the work was done properly to do a correct diagnosis. We use High Level Appliance for all of our go-to repairs in our home and our residential properties and they've done good work by and large. I do feel they fell short here. ....... Update: an honest review needs an honest update. The fridge crapped out as predicted by the HL technician. He was right. The other technician did a band aid repair and only lasted about 9 months until the fridge crapped out again. I still use HL for repair and would recommend them to anyone.

Joshua KrieseIf I had a dollar for every appliance in my house that has tried to quit on us, I’d probably be able to afford replacing them instead of fixing them. This is the second time we’ve had High Level Appliance Repair out, and Brian has been an absolute legend both times. Last year he brought our LG dishwasher back from the dead, and this year he showed up to investigate what sounded like our brand-new dryer trying to launch itself into orbit. Turns out one of my kids (or maybe me… the jury is still out) left a rock in a pocket, and it got stuck in the door. Brian calmly reassured us that this happens all the time and that our dryer wasn’t about to explode. As a family with five homeschooled kids, our house usually looks like organized chaos. Through all the noise, questions, and general pandemonium, Brian was patient, professional, and genuinely enjoyable to have around. I own a plumbing company myself, so I know how rare it is to find technicians who are knowledgeable, honest, and fantastic with customers. Brian checks every box. If you need appliance repair in Lethbridge, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend High Level Appliance Repair every chance I get. Hopefully I won’t need them again anytime soon… but let’s be honest, with five kids it’s probably only a matter of weeks.
Spencer StankoCannot say enough good things about high level appliance repair. We talked to Brian about our issue with our fridge, as it was not cooling properly. I told him the basic set up of the fridge and Brian was able to help and suggest a couple things to try. before even coming out. Can’t thank high land repair enough! Will be using in the future.
